25-year-old woman jumps from Lahore General Hospital’s fourth floor

LAHORE – A tragic incident occurred at the General Hospital in Lahore, where a 25-year-old woman reportedly jumped from the fourth floor of the hospital’s Outpatient Department (OPD). The woman, identified as Ayesha, daughter of Muhammad Nawaz, hails from Abbottabad and had been undergoing treatment in the Medical Unit 2. Police said the woman, suffering from mental health issues, took the drastic step. She was immediately transferred to the Surgical Emergency Unit for medical care. Authorities have confirmed that Ayesha’s condition is now stable and no longer considered life-threatening. Police have also launched an investigation into the incident.
