4.5 magnitude earthquake jolts Islamabad, other cities

ISLAMABAD – A mild earthquake jolted capital city of Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday. The National Seismological Centre said the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.5 on the Ritcher scale while it occurred at depth of 14 kilometers. It said the the epicentre was located 11 kilometres northeast of the Burhan area in Attock district. Tremors were felt in Attock, Swabi and other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa No immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received.
