Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam has arrived in Pakistan ahead of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting. During his stay in Pakistan, Aminul Islam will attend the ICC emergency and meet Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. According to the media reports, an ICC delegation led by its deputy chairman will reach Pakistan in the afternoon to discuss the situation in the aftermath of Pakistan’s boycott of the February 15 T20 World Cup match against arch-rival India. Pakistan government has earlier announced to boycott the much-anticipated encounter of the global event to protest against the ICC’s biased approach towards Bangladesh. Following the snubbing of star pacer Mustafizur Rahman by the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) directions, the BCB requested the ICC to shift its matches outside India. The ICC, however, rejected the BCB’s request and replaced Bangladesh with Scotland in the mega event. Pakistan to boycott Feb 15 match of T20 World Cup against India
