As the eclipse peaked, the moon lingered in Earth’s umbra before slowly emerging. The total phase faded at 4:34 pm, and the partial eclipse continued its retreat until it finally ended at 6:17 pm. By 7:23 pm, the celestial show was over, but not forgotten. Such eclipse formed when Earth positions itself directly between the Sun and the Moon, blocking sunlight from reaching the lunar surface.
