Cheaters deprive 250 job seekers of millions, FIA registers FIR

Amraiz Khan Right under the nose of FIA’s Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC), 250 youngsters seeking jobs abroad, were deprived of more than Rs. 300 millions by human smugglers in Lahore. This filthy business remained continued during the year 2025 but FIA could not check these peoples involved in fraudulent activities. According to FIR No. AHTC-LHR-84/26 lodged at the Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Lahore under Sections 17/22 of the Emigration Ordinance, 1979, the accused — Syed IshtiaqHussain Shah aliasHussain Shah and IqbalHussainAwan alias AzmatUllah — are accused of running an illegal recruitment racket and threatening the complainant after taking money and documents. b The case stems from Enquiry No. 683/2026, which concluded that complainant Shakeel Ahmad, a resident of KhasKamahan, Lahore Cantt, approached the FIA after allegedly being duped through a social media advertisement offering employment visas for Saudi Arabia. n In his written complaint, Ahmad stated that the suspects claimed they could arrange a Saudi work visa for Rs300,000.
