CM Maryam visits Quetta to meet martyrs’ families, victims of terror attacks

QUETTA – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reached Quetta on Tuesday for a one-day official visit to Balochistan. She was warmly received at Quetta Airport by Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and several provincial ministers. Following her arrival, the Punjab CM proceeded to the Governor House for a scheduled one-on-one meeting with the Balochistan governor. Punjab ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb and Azma Bokhari, along with the Punjab Chief Secretary, are accompanying the chief minister on this visit. During her visit, Maryam Nawaz is set to meet the families of victims of recent terrorist attacks, offering her condolences and support. She is also expected to hold talks with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. Consultations with members of the Balochistan cabinet regarding the province’s political and security situation are also planned at the Governor House.
