The Erasmus Mundus IMSOGLO programme is offering a fully funded two-year master’s degree aimed at studying soil science in the context of climate change, land use, and ecosystem sustainability. The Pakistani students can also apply for this scholarship. Part of the European Union’s Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees initiative, the programme provides students worldwide the opportunity to earn a joint European degree while gaining international academic exposure. The IMSOGLO Master of Science (120 ECTS) focuses on soil chemistry, biology, physics, and sustainable land management. Graduates will be equipped to address real-world environmental challenges and receive a joint degree from four European universities in Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Denmark. The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship covers full tuition and provides a monthly stipend of €1,400 for up to 24 months, in addition to support for travel, visa, and insurance costs. Students with special needs may also receive additional financial assistance. Eligibility requirements include a bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in environmental science, biology, geology, agricultural science, or related fields, with prior coursework in natural sciences and proof of English proficiency. The programme is open to all nationalities. Applications open in October 2025, with the scholarship deadline set for 28 February 2026. Selected candidates will be notified by April 2026, and classes will begin in September 2026. The graduates can pursue careers in environmental consulting, research institutions, policy-making bodies, international NGOs and climate science.
