KARACHI – A large-scale military operation in Tirah Valley have been firmly denied by senior security officials of Pakistan Army, who called such claims false and baseless propaganda. According to a security sources, no large-scale operation is taking place in the restive region. The Pakistan Army is conducting intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, which have been ongoing for three years. Security sources confirmed that there has been no increase in troop presence anywhere in the valley. The absence of troop buildup negates rumors of a major operation. There were also reportes that army-public relationship is strained in Tirah due to military activity. Officials however clarified that the bond between the army and local communities remains strong. All decisions are made in consultation with tribal elders and respected local leaders, keeping traditions and local conditions in mind. Security sources said that the nexus between terrorists and criminal elements has been exposed. Ongoing IBOs are conducted based on precise intelligence and will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated. Officials clarified that Fitna al-Hindustan is opposed to public welfare and development in Balochistan. Contrary to their slogans of deprivation, the public recognizes them as enemies of progress. In recent years, over 25,000 kilometers of roads and four cardiac hospitals have been built in the province. During Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan Army reportedly delivered decisive blow to enemy forces. Officials warned that any renewed attempts by India would be met with an even stronger response. Troops were also deployed on the western border under Field Marshal directives. Officials blamed India of funding terrorists in Afghanistan and Balochistan. They also highlighted Pakistan’s drone technology achievements. The media’s role was praised as vital and effective during Marka-e-Haq, underscoring the importance of a strong national media. As of now, there is no large-scale military operation is being planned in Tirah. Troop numbers remain stable, and no buildup has taken place. Intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against terrorist networks are ongoing and have been for three years. Local consultation and public welfare remain central to operational decisions.
