The family members of a female medical student of Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore refused to take legal action over her suicide. The family members received her dead body and left for their native areas with the body after the postmortem. According to details, the student of Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the hostel. Her body was handed over to the heirs after the postmortem and the family left for their native areas with the body of the student. The heirs say that the girl committed suicide due to personal problems and do not want to take legal action in this regard. It has been reported that a student of Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore who jumped from the roof of the hostel could not survive due to brain injury. The girl has been identified as 22-year-old Fariha, who was in the final year of her studies. The student had been suffering from depression for more than 6 months. She had completed one final year paper and the second paper was due on Friday, February 19, and she was preparing for the second paper.
