Field Marshal Asim Munir sends clear message ‘Any Aggression in Kashmir Will Be Met With Force’

MUZAFFARABAD – Field Marshal COAS & CDF Syed Asim Munir visited Muzaffarabad today to honor the martyrs of the Kashmir freedom struggle. The top military chief laid a wreath at the Jammu and Kashmir Martyrs Monument, offering heartfelt tributes to the Shuhada of the Kashmir movement and recognizing their enduring courage and selfless sacrifice. During his visit, the COAS & CDF met with prominent notables and veterans, reiterating Pakistan’s steadfast political, moral, and diplomatic support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK). He condemned the ongoing Indian atrocities, human rights violations, and Hindutva-driven excesses, emphasizing that such actions have failed to suppress the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Field Marshal Munir expressed unwavering confidence that Kashmir would soon witness freedom, aligned with the will and destiny of its people. He vowed that Pakistan would continue to highlight the Kashmir issue at every relevant international forum, standing in full solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters until a just resolution is achieved in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions. Praising the dedication, professionalism, and high morale of officers and soldiers deployed in Kashmir under challenging operational conditions, the COAS & CDF stressed the critical importance of maintaining peak operational preparedness, vigilance, and seamless coordination to effectively deter and respond to any hostile provocation. In a visit to a forward post, he interacted with troops on the frontlines, assuring them that any act of aggression would be met with an immediate and decisive response. He underlined that the Armed Forces remain fully prepared to tackle both conventional and hybrid threats in an evolving security environment. The visit began with the COAS & CDF being received by the Commander of the Rawalpindi Corps, highlighting the high-level attention and strategic importance accorded to the region.
