New Zealand’s Finn Allen on Wednesday hit the fastest hundred in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup history, surpassing West Indian opening batter Chris Gayle. The fiery opening batter hit an unbeaten 100 off just 33 balls in the first semi-final against South Africa to help the Kiwis reach the T20 World Cup final. New Zealand will lock horns with either England or India in the T20 World Cup final scheduled to be played in Mumbai on Sunday, March 8. Now, Chris Gayle’s two knocks are on the second and third spots with 47 and 50 deliveries, respectively. On the list of fastest T20 World Cup hundreds, England skipper Harry Brook closely followed Chris Gayle by scoring a ton in just 50 balls.
