Fire erupts at mobile market in Karachi’s Saddar

A huge fire erupted on Monday evening at Saddar’s mobile market, according to police and rescue officials. South Deputy Inspector General Syed Asad Raza told Dawn that the fire broke out on the 7th floor parking of the Al Najeeb mobile market at around 07:45pm. “Three fire tenders are trying to extinguish the fire,” he added. Rescue 1122 said in a statement that a rescue team had been sent to the spot along with an ambulance and a fire tender truck after receiving information about the fire. More to follow
