Former PML-N leader Zaeem Qadri passes away

LAHORE – Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, ex-member of the Punjab Assembly, and Awam Pakistan Party leader Zaeem Qadri has passed away. The family sources said that his funeral prayers will be offered after Maghrib at his residence located at 26 Lawrence Road, Lahore. Born on December 25, 1964, in Lahore, Zaeem Qadri remained a member of the Punjab Assembly from 2008 to 2018. During his political career, he also served as an adviser to then Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and performed duties as spokesperson for the Punjab government. However, in 2018, he parted ways with the PML-N due to internal party differences. Zaeem Qadri’s demise has been widely mourned by political leaders and workers across party lines, who paid tribute to his political services and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. The political leaders have expressed sorrow and grief over demise of Zaeem Qadri, saying that he would be remembered for his services and role in the politics. They also prayed for the bereaved family to bear this loss.
