Four Indian-backed Khwarij gunned down in dramatic night operation in Lakki Marwat: ISPR

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Security Forces struck at reported hideout of Khwarij linked to Indian-sponsored terror group Fitna al Khwarij in Lakki Marwat District, in bold and intelligence-driven nighttime operation on 18–19 February 2026. The operation escalated into intense firefight, during which four militants were eliminated. Authorities seized cache of weapons and ammunition from the Indian-supported operatives, who had been actively orchestrating multiple terrorist attacks in the region. Security Forces are continuing a comprehensive clearance operation to ensure that no remaining Indian-backed militants remain in the area. The decisive action comes as part of Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, which aims to root out foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country once and for all.
