KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan ended the week on a high note, posting significant gains on Saturday as investors flocked to safe-haven assets in response to rising geopolitical tensions between Iran and the US. The price of per tola gold moved up by Rs7,100, bringing new rate to Rs533,562 while the 10-gram settled at Rs457,433 after witnessing an increase of Rs6,087. Gold has recorded an increase of Rs18,800 in previous four days as the commodity maintained its gaining streak. The precious commodity also recorded gains in international bullion market where per ounce rate soared by $71, closing at $5,108.
