Gold prices in Pakistan surge by Rs11,700 after recent drop

RAWALPINDI – The price of gold has seen a significant increase following a recent decline in Pakistan on Saturday. According to Sarafa Association, gold’s per tola price has surged by Rs11,700, reaching a new rate of Rs519,462 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs10,030, bringing its new price to Rs 445,354 per 10 grams. In the global market, the price of gold has also increased by $117 per ounce, with the price now standing at $4,967. Along with gold, the price of silver has also seen a rise. The per tola price of silver has gone up by Rs444, reaching a new value of Rs8,269 per tola. The hold prices experienced a significant drop on Friday amid downward trend in international market. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 21,400 per tola today, bringing the price of a tola to Rs 507,762. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 18,347, now standing at Rs 435,324. This marks a notable decline in the market.
