ISLAMABAD – The deadline for biometric registration for Hajj 2026 in Pakistan has been extended to facilitate intending pilgrims. The Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson stated that biometric verification is now mandatory for the Saudi visa, and those who fail to complete it will not be issued a Hajj visa. The spokesperson further clarified that pilgrims who do not complete their biometric registration will be unable to perform Hajj this year. Hajj 2026 Biometric New Deadline The deadline for biometric registration for Hajj 2026 has been extended to February 17, up from the original date of February 8. Authorities urge all pilgrims to complete their biometric process by the new deadline to ensure the timely issuance of Saudi visas. Pilgrims can now complete their biometric registration for Hajj 2026 from the convenience of their homes using the Saudi Visa Bio app. To register, users must first sign up via email, upload a scan of their passport, take a selfie, and provide fingerprint verification for both hands. Once the process is complete, a confirmation email will be sent, which should be kept for future reference. For those encountering difficulties with the app, support is available at designated Tasheer Centers nationwide or through assistance at local bank branches.
