‘I will not stay silent’: Alina Amir fights back against Deepfake Video Leak Scandal

2026-02-10 - 13:26

Social media star Alina Amir has taken a strong stand against cyber harassment, officially filing an FIR against those who created and circulated a fake AI-generated video of her. The controversial clip, which went viral around two weeks ago, digitally placed Alina’s face onto another girl’s body in a clear attempt to damage her reputation. Initially remaining silent and observing the situation for nearly a week, Alina finally broke her silence when hundreds of posts claiming “Alina Amir’s video has leaked” began circulating online. In a video message shared on her social media, she confirmed the FIR and issued a firm warning that she would hold everyone accountable. FIR covers not only the creators of the deepfake but also those who shared, reposted, or circulated it. “All such people will be made an example,” Alina declared. She also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Minister Hina Parvez Butt, and the NCCIA. She stressed that her fight is not just for herself, but for all girls who face similar harassment and remain silent out of fear. Alina explained that she could have stayed quiet, as controversies like this often fade in 8–10 days, but she deliberately chose to act to prevent others from suffering the same ordeal. “I will forgive no one,” she said, vowing to pursue justice relentlessly. Thanking Allah for giving her the strength to speak up, she urged all girls to raise their voices and stand against injustice. Alina Amir is latest in string of controversies that rocked Pakistan’s social media scene. Minahil Malik, Imsha Rehman, Kanwal Aftab, Maryam Faisal, and Gul Chahat, have fallen victim to leaked or AI-generated intimate videos. Minahil Malik’s alleged private video went viral last year, sparking harassment and speculation online. She publicly denied the clip’s authenticity and filed a complaint with Pakistan’s FIA. Similarly, Imsha Rehman faced threats and online abuse after a private video surfaced, forcing her to temporarily deactivate her accounts. The trend has extended to other influencers like Kanwal Aftab, Maryam Faisal, and transgender TikToker Gul Chahat, raising serious concerns about digital privacy and online harassment. Legal actions, public statements, and FIRs are being filed to hold those responsible accountable. Alina Amir Video Leak: Who is behind MMS Controversy of TikTok Star?
