Imamat Day Message: Prince Rahim Aga Khan extends wishes to Ismaili community, global partners

Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan has marked Imamat Day by reflecting on the completion of the first year of his Imamat, expressing gratitude to the global Ismaili community, world leaders, and partners for their support and friendship. “As I complete the first year of my Imamat, I have been deeply touched by the warm messages of congratulations received from around the world,” he said in his Imamat Day message. His Highness conveyed “heartfelt thanks to the numerous world leaders and partners of the Ismaili Imamat and our institutions” who welcomed him during the past year, noting that “their enduring friendship is a source of happiness and pride.” Reflecting on his engagements with the Jamat, His Highness said that his visits to Ismaili communities around the world “have brought me great joy,” and added that he looks forward to continuing to meet the community in the year ahead. He expressed immense gratitude to “the thousands of volunteers who have made these visits possible,” as well as to “the national and local governments who have facilitated them.” In his message, His Highness also paid tribute to the work of the Aga Khan Development Network, describing it as “one of the greatest legacies of my late father,” and affirming his pride in leading the organisation. He conveyed his deep gratitude to “the staff and volunteers of all our institutions for their hard work to improve the lives of millions around the world.” Concluding his Imamat Day message, His Highness extended his best wishes to the Ismaili community and to “all our partners, supporters, volunteers, and staff,” offering his prayers “for peace, happiness, and prosperity across our world.”
