India beat Pakistan in Super Sixes match to reach U19 World Cup Semis

India beat Pakistan by 58 runs in the decisive Super Sixes match in Bulawayo on Sunday to reach the U19 World Cup semi-final. Chasing a decent 253-run target, Pakistan were bundled out for 194 in 46.2 overs despite reaching the comfortable position of winning the game at the halfway stage. Usman Khan was the highest scorer for the green shirts with 66 off 92 balls, hitting seven boundaries. Hamza Zahoor contributed 42 off 49 balls, laced with eight boundaries. Skipper Farhan Yousaf made 38 off 39 balls with the help of three fours and two maximums. Huzaifa Ahsan scored 14 runs off 30 balls. No other batter could enter the double figures. Khilan Patel and Ayush Mhatre got three wickets each, while RS Ambrish, Henil Patel, Kanishk Chouhan and Vihaan Malhotra took one wicket apiece. Kanishk Chouhan was named player of the match. After being put into bat by Pakistan skipper Farhan Yousaf, India were bundled out for 252 on the penultimate ball of the final over. Vedant Trivedi was the top scorer with 68 off 98 balls, hitting two fours and one maximum. Kanishk Chouhan contributed a valuable 35 off 29 balls with the help of four fours and one maximum to help the side set a competitive total. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made 30 off 22 balls, RS Ambrish 29 off 38 balls, and Khilan Patel and Vihaan Malhotra 21 each, while Aaron George and Abhigyan Kundu contributed 16 each. Abdul Subhan bagged three wickets and Mohammad Sayyam two, while Ali Raza, Ahmed Hussain, Momin Qamar and Ali Hassan Baloch got one wicket each. Deepesh Devendran was run out.
