TEHRAN/WASHINGTON – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that 160 American personnel were killed in attacks on US military bases across the Middle East amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States. Iranian military authorities said the total number of American casualties, including both dead and injured, had reached 650. The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate confirmation or response from US officials regarding the reported casualties. The IRGC further asserted that it had targeted a US Navy destroyer in the Indian Ocean. However, no additional details were provided about the alleged strike or possible damage to the vessel. Meanwhile, the United States has issued updated travel and security advisories for its citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates. US diplomatic authorities urged American nationals who are able to depart to avail themselves of commercial flights and return home. Those unable to leave have been advised to remain indoors at their residences or hotels and restrict movement to essential activities only. In a separate claim, Iranian sources alleged that a CIA station operating within the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia was destroyed in a suspected drone attack. The media reports said there has been no confirmation regarding any casualties among personnel of the Central Intelligence Agency. Iran has also accused the CIA of attempting to incite armed unrest within the country, a claim that has not been independently substantiated. The situation remained tense, with conflicting claims and heightened security concerns across the region.
