Iran-Israel conflict: 708 flights from Pakistan to Middle East cancelled in six days

As many as 708 flights from Pakistan to Middle East have been cancelled amid Iran-Israel conflict during last six days. As per details, due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, a total of 130 flights from Pakistan to destinations including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar were cancelled on Thursday (today). At Karachi Airport, 30 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait, and Bahrain were suspended. Islamabad saw 36 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Sharjah cancelled. Lahore Airport reported 22 cancellations to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, while Peshawar experienced 14 flight suspensions to Dubai, Sharjah, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. Similarly, Multan Airport had 14 flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Khaleejah, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait cancelled. Sialkot Airport reported 10 cancellations to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and other Middle Eastern destinations. Faisalabad also suspended four flights to the region. On the other hand, beef and mutton supply from Pakistan to Middle East countries has been disrupted due to closure of airspace and maritime routes amid Iran-Israel war. As per details, for the fifth consecutive day, the closure of airspace and maritime routes in several Arab countries has disrupted Pakistan’s meat exports, halting the supply of mutton and beef to Gulf markets.
