KARACHI – Authorities have announced revised school timings in Karachi to provide relief to students and staff during the holy month of Ramadan 2026. The holy month is most likely to commence in Pakistan tomorrow, February 19, as there are strong chances of moon sighting tonight as it has born on Feb 17. Single Shift School Timings in Ramadan For single shift schools, the new timings will be from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, ensuring that students can complete their academic responsibilities while observing fasting hours. Double Shift School Timings In schools operating with a double shift system, the first shift will run from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, while the second shift will start at 11:45 am and end at 2:45 pm. These changes are aimed at providing a more comfortable and manageable schedule for students during Ramadan, allowing them to attend classes and still maintain their religious observance. These updated school timings will be in effect throughout the month of Ramadan to support both students and staff in fulfilling their academic and spiritual duties. Earlier, Punjab and other provinces have also announced revised school timings for the holy month of Ramadan.
