ISLAMABAD – Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a guard of honour during a formal welcome ceremony at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Wednesday. During the ceremony, national anthems of the two countries were played. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Kazakh president will hold bilateral and delegation-level talks focusing on expanding bilateral ties. Dar emphasized Pakistan’s recognition of the increasing frequency of high-level political exchanges between the two nations. He reiterated the mutual commitment to enhance cooperation in political, economic, and people-to-people spheres, while working collaboratively to promote lasting peace, stability, and regional development.
