Intermittent light rain with snowfall is likely in the upper parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday night and Tuesday. Synoptic Situation: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly prevails over the northern and western parts of Pakistan. Forecast: Under these conditions, cold and dry weather is likely in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday night and Tuesday. Freezing weather is likely in the upper districts. However, light rain with light snowfall is likely at isolated places in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Kohistan, Dir, Swat and surroundings. Temperatures: Peshawar’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 06°C and 08°C on Tuesday, between 07°C and 09°C on Wednesday, and between 08°C and 10°C on Thursday. Past Weather: Cold and dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in the upper districts. However, isolated rain occurred in the upper parts. Rainfall (mm): Pattan 01 Kalam remained the coldest place in the province, where the temperature dropped 07°C below the freezing point. Minimum temperature in Malam Jabba was recorded at -05°C, and in Chitral and Dir at 0°C. In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 07°C.
