Lahore Court indicts YouTuber Ducky, wife and others in online gambling promotion case

LAHORE – A local court on Monday formally indicted YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky, his wife Aroob Jatoi and other accused in a case related to the promotion of online gambling. The proceedings were held at the Lahore District Courts, where Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the case registered against Saad Rehman alias Ducky and others for allegedly promoting online gambling platforms. All accused appeared before the court during the hearing. The court framed charges against the accused; however, they pleaded not guilty. Following their denial, the court summoned prosecution witnesses and adjourned the hearing until February 23. The prosecution said that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered the case, accusing the suspects of promoting online gambling websites through digital and social media platforms, which is a punishable offence under the law.
