Lahore, Punjab weather: Above-normal temperatures expected

Due to the persistent dry weather, above-normal temperatures are expected in Lahore and parts of Punjab during the current week. Synoptic Situation: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. Forecast: Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Lahore and most districts of Punjab on Monday night and the next two days. Cold and dry weather is expected in Murree, Galiyat and the surrounding areas. Fog is likely in Sialkot, Narowal and surroundings during morning hours. However, daytime temperatures are expected to remain above normal in central and southern districts. Temperatures: Lahore’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 14°C and 16°C on Tuesday and Wednesday. Past Weather: Mainly dry weather prevailed in Lahore and most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. Cold weather prevailed during the morning hours. Cold and dry weather prevailed in Murree and Galiyat. Murree remained the coldest place in the province, where the temperature dropped to 04°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 41 per cent. In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 14°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 45 per cent.
