Okara SHO injured after police constable opens fire for unknown reasons

OKARA – Police have arrested Constable Abdullah for opening fire on SHO Satghara in Okara and leaving him seriously injured. Following the shooting, special teams were formed to track him down. DPO Okara Muhammad Rashid said the suspect has been transferred to the police station for questioning as reasons behind the shooting incident are unknown. SP Investigation Malik Dawood is leading a team to interrogate the constable over shooting incident. Reports indicate that the SHO Satghara was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the abdomen, where DPO Muhammad Rashid personally visited to check on his condition and ensure proper medical care. A case under attempted murder charges has been registered against Constable Abdullah, and investigations have begun. Departmental action is also ongoing. Police said the full details and motives of the incident will be revealed after the completion of the inquiry.
