ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that property disputes involving overseas Pakistanis will be decided within seven days. The minister made the announcement in a post on social media platform X, extending a much-needed facility to the Pakistanis citizens who live abroad. “If you report any qabza/illegal occupation, the DC Islamabad is bound to decide within 7 days. Your property rights will be protected, no one will be allowed to take what is lawfully yours,” the interior minister announced. “Your investments in ICT are welcome and valued. We will provide a secure, investor friendly environment and ensure swift, transparent action to safeguard your assets 100%,” Naqvi concluded. He spoke at the Overseas International Convention organized by the Hope of Overseas Pakistanis Spain in Barcelona, attended by representatives from the organization around the world. During his address, Minister Tarar emphasized the significance of remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis, stressing that their financial contributions play a critical role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. He assured the attendees that the government is committed to addressing the challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis and prioritizing their welfare. Minister Tarar also acknowledged the unwavering support of overseas Pakistanis, particularly in difficult times, and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to protecting their rights and improving facilities for their well-being.
