Military top brass says no political, malicious interests threatening security will be tolerated
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, has emphasised that no malicious efforts—whether political or otherwise—aimed at undermining Pakistan's national unity, security, and stability would be tolerated. He also warned that any attempts to create divisions between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan would be firmly opposed.
The statement came during the 273rd Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), presided over by Field Marshal Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday. The meeting, attended by senior military officials, discussed key national security issues and the current state of the armed forces.
In his address, Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed the military's commitment to safeguarding Pakistan's sovereignty and ensuring the cohesion of its armed forces with the general public. He underscored the importance of maintaining unity, especially in the face of growing internal and external challenges.
This is a developing story.
