KARACHI – The fourth batch of relief supplies from China has arrived in Karachi to aid victims of natural disasters in Pakistan. This latest shipment includes 1,000 sleeping bags, 14,000 tents, and 12,000 blankets. The relief items were transported to a Karachi warehouse by trucks coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). With this consignment, a total of 45,000 blankets, 20,000 tents, 100 boats, 1,000 life jackets, and 5,000 sleeping bags have been sent from China in four separate shipments. NDMA reiterates its commitment to mobilize all available resources for the relief and rehabilitation of disaster-affected populations. The authority will continue to ensure the provision of relief items to affected areas strictly in accordance with ground needs and evolving situation assessments. Pakistan had received the third consignment from all-weather friend China in December 2025.
