Pakistan’s security forces foiled an infiltration attempt in the Chaman sector, killing one terrorist during an exchange of fire. According to media reports, Pakistan troops intercepted a group of three to four militants attempting to infiltrate the border area in the Chaman sector. As Army troops continued operations to protect the border fence and prevent cross-border infiltration, they intercepted the militants trying to infiltrate by cutting the fence. During the exchange of fire, one militant was killed, while others were injured and managed to escape.
