Kashmiris’ struggle for right of self-determination now a glorious part of human history: Sardar Masood The epic struggle by the Kashmiri people of the Indian Illegally-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K) has become a glorious part of human history and will always be referred to whenever researchers and historians write or speak on struggle for freedom or public uprising against oppression. Former President of the AJK, Sardar Masood Khan expressed these views while addressing a seminar “Kashmir ka Muqadama: Nasl-e-Nau ki Zubaani” (Case of Kashmir in the words of the New Generation) on the eve of the Kashmir Solidarity Day held at the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL). He was presiding over the ceremony. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon was the Guest of Honour. Kashmiri leader Dr Samiullah Malik, Federal Secretary for National Heritage and Culture Division, Asadur Rehman Gillani, Dr Kashif Irfan, scholars, writers, and intellectuals also spoke on the occasion and expressed solidarity with the people of the IIOJ&K. they commended the PAL Chairperson Dr Najiba Arif for organizing a thought-provoking seminar that called upon the UN and the world bodies to listen to the cries of the Kashmiri women and children who have been suffering aggression and humiliation at the hands of the occupying Indian forces for decades.
