QUETTA: Pakistani citizens in Iran have started coming back from the war-torn country, Balochistan’s Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said on Monday. Pakistanis staying in Iran have started their return by land routes after the neighboring country faces joint strikes from the United States and Israel. Chief Minister Bugti said that the immigration officials working round the clock at border check posts. The border transportation will be made more effective and organized, chief minister said. “The government has issued instructions to administrations of border districts,” Bugti said. He said all possible facilities and required assistance will be provided to the returning citizens. “So far, over 70 Pakistani citizens have returned from Iran,” Baluchistan CM said. The US and Israeli strikes on Iran that killed the country’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei have caused a widespread conflict disrupting air travel in the region affecting oil trade and causing several deaths. Trump’s entire administration has remained equally silent since the launch of Operation “Epic Fury”, raising questions about the way it is making the case for the biggest US intervention in the Middle East for two decades.
