Petrol prices in Pakistan to be revised from 1 February 2026; Expected rates

ISLAMABAD – Petrol prices in Pakistan may witness a change in upcoming fortnightly review for February 2026 amid ongoing global tensions and uncertainty in international oil market. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has completed its working on the price adjustments and will send a summary to the Petroleum Division tomorrow (January 30) for final approval. The Petroleum Division will issue an official notification regarding the new prices on January 31, after consulting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. When Will New Petrol Prices Come into Effect? The new petroleum prices will be implanted from February 1 to 15, 2026. What’s Expected Reports said the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is expected to rise by Rs9.47 per liter, while the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) could increase by Rs6.95 per liter. Additionally, Kerosene oil is likely to see a price hike of Rs. 3.69 per liter. However, petrol prices are expected to decrease by 36 paisas per liter. What would be the New Petrol Prices from February 2026? If the reported cut in petroleum prices is implemented, the new petrol price in Pakistan would be Rs252.81 per litre compared to existing Rs253.17. The price of High Speed Diesel may soar to Rs266.55 per litre compared to existing Rs257.08 while the price of light speed diesel is lily to surge to Rs166.71. The price of the kerosene oil is expected to move up by Rs3.69 to climb to Rs180.5 per litre.
