Promotions granted to dozens of CDA market, road maintenance employees

Promotion orders were issued for dozens of employees of the Market and Road Maintenance Department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA). A formal ceremony for the distribution of promotion letters was held at the Central Union Office, where labour leader Ch Muhammad Yaseen presented promotion letters to the successful employees. The event was attended by prominent labour representatives and union office-bearers, including Sufi Mahmood Ali, Asad Mahmood, Muhammad Sarfraz Malik, Waris Daleep, Wajid Gujjar, Safdar Naqvi, Tariq Afridi, Chairman of the CBA Committee (Market and Road Maintenance) Chaudhry Muhammad Anwar, Supreme Head Taj Kiyani, President Waqar Khan, General Secretary Ayaz Abbasi, Senior Vice Chairman Malik Adnan, Malik Ehsan, Imran Ullah, Shahid Gujjar, Zahid Khan, Tanveer Ahmed, Malik Akmal Shehzad, Gohar Elahi, Malik Aslam and a large number of employees. Speaking on the occasion, the promoted employees expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the CDA Mazdoor Union, stating that the union continues to serve as the true representative body of employees and works for their welfare without discrimination. They voiced confidence that the union will continue to resolve employees’ issues on a priority basis. Addressing the ceremony, CDA Mazdoor Union General Secretary Ch Yaseen stated that the commitments made during the referendum were being fulfilled. He highlighted that, by the grace of Allah, more than 7,000 field staff members have been promoted so far which was a big achievement and unprecedented in the institution’s history.
