Road advisory for Karachi citizen as closures cause traffic jam

KARACHI – Karachi residents are facing major traffic disruptions on Wednesday (today) due to multiple road closures across the city. The Karachi Traffic Police said that M.T. Khan Road has been closed from PIDC Road to Mai Kolachi Road near the railway crossing for security reasons. These closures have intensified traffic congestion on I.I. Chundrigar Road, a major city artery. The traffic authorities have advised commuters from Bilawal House and Clifton to use the Boot Basin to Teen Talwar route as an alternate path. Vehicles traveling from ICI Chowk and Mauripur Road towards Boot Basin are advised to take I.I. Chundrigar Road while commuters moving from Sharae Faisal to Jinnah Bridge via PIDC should also switch to I.I. Chundrigar Road to avoid delays. The traffic police urged citizens to follow these recommended routes to minimize congestion and ensure smoother travel across the city. The drivers are also advised to stay updated on traffic conditions via official alerts and local media.
