Shaheens to depart tomorrow for white-ball series against England Lions

Pakistan Shaheens will depart for Dubai from Karachi on Wednesday afternoon to take on England Lions in a bilateral white-ball series comprising three T20s and five 50-over matches. The T20 series will be played from February 20 to 24, while the five-match 50-over series will take place from February 20 to 24 to March 9. All eight matches will be played at the Stadium Oval in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan Shaheens held a six-day pre-series camp in Karachi, where players took part in various scenario-based matches as well as training sessions. On the final day of the camp, the Pakistan Shaheens squad faced a Karachi side in a practice T20 match held at the National Bank Stadium. 16-member Pakistan Shaheens squad will be led by 21-year-old Shamyl Hussain, who has featured in 26 first-class, 12 List-A and seven T20 matches.
