Social media platform X faces global outage not linked to country-level disruption: NetBlocks

Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is currently experiencing international outages, internet monitor NetBlocks said on Thursday. It added that the incident was “not related to country-level internet disruptions or filtering”. Downdetector, which monitors internet outages in real time, showed a sharp spike in problems reported by Pakistani users soon after 12pm. Half of those issues pertained to the X timeline, with most of the rest complaining about the app. More than 23,000 complaints were reported across the United States as well, indicating an international-level outage.
