T20 World Cup: India captain again skips handshake with Pakistan skipper

Continuing the previous practice, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav again avoided a customary handshake with his Pakistani counterpart Salman Ali Agha at the toss for a high-voltage clash of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. In last year’s Asia Cup, the two sides had met thrice, and Yadav refused to shake hands every time, a move which has triggered criticism from across the globe, including India as well. At a presser a day before the much-anticipated clash, Yada suggested fans wait for the match, but again skipped the handshake on the day.
