Pakistan thrashed Namibia by 102 runs in the last Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Colombo on Wednesday to advance to the Super Eight stage. Chasing a massive 200-run target for victory, Namibia kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 97 in 17.3 overs. Louren Steenkamp was the top scorer for his team with 23 off 22 balls, hitting three fours and one maximum. Alexander Busing-Volschenk contributed 20 off 20 balls, hitting one and one maximum. No other batter could enter the double figures. Usman Tariq bagged four wickets and Shadab Khan three, while Mohammad Nawaz and Salman Mirza got one wicket each. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton was run out.
