These major roads to remain closed tonight in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Islamabad Police hav announced that several major roads in capital city will be temporarily closed tonight between 8:00 and 9:00 PM. Key roads like the Expressway, Murree Road, and Club Road will experience traffic diversions, which may increase traffic pressure on the Expressway and Faisal Avenue. The police have advised citizens traveling from Rawalpindi to Islamabad to use alternative routes such as Rawal Road, Ninth Avenue, Faqeer Aabadi Road, and Srinagar Highway. Travelers heading towards Rawalpindi are advised to take the Ninth Avenue via Zero Point and Srinagar Highway. For those coming from Murree or Bara Kahu, the suggested routes are Korang Road, Bani Gala, Park Road, and Lehtrar Road. Similarly, those traveling from Serena and Bhara Kahu towards Rawalpindi should use Park Road and Khanna Road.
