Visitor entry limited to 1-2 people per passenger at Karachi airport

KARACHI – The Sindh government has announced new restrictions on the number of people allowed to accompany passengers at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, as part of enhanced security measures. Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar revealed that only one or two individuals will be permitted to drop off or pick up passengers at the airport. In addition to this, the minister emphasized that the government will intensify efforts to curb the display of arms in public, aiming to strengthen the law and order situation across the province. The crackdown on illegal weaponry is set to ensure a safer environment for both residents and visitors.
