Where to go for biometric registration of matric, inter Punjab board exams?

LAHORE – All Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab has made the biometric attendance mandatory for matric and intermediate examinations. “You are hereby informed that, in accordance with the directions of Mr. Muzammil Mahmood, Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Task Force on Examinations reforms, and the instructions issued by the Higher Education / School Education Department, Punjab, biometric attendance of all candidates has been made mandatory at all examination centers established under the jurisdiction of the Boards,” read the letter sent by the BISE Lahore to headmasters and principals of all public and private institutions. “For this purpose, during the registration process of Class IX (SSC) and Class XI (HSSC), live scanning of fingerprints of both thumbs of all candidates shall be compulsory,” it added. The board has directed all educational institutions to ensure the completion of the arrangements. It said the head of the institution shall ensure the arrangement of a device at the institutional level for thumb scanning of candidates, strictly in accordance with the technical specifications issued by the Board. “The institution shall arrange a laptop for the biometric verification process. The biometric scanning process shall be carried out through the software/application provided by the Board,” the official letter. Thumb impressions of both hands of all candidates must be scanned at the time of registration. Any negligence or delay in this regard shall be the sole responsibility of the Head of Institution, the board warned. Where to Go For Biometric Registration The regular and private students will require to get their biometric thumb impression registered at their relevant schools or college.
